With our project “Activating future leaders for nature protection” we reached the students of Mihai Bravu Technical College in Bucharest.
The topics of discussion were related to the responsible management of resources and the role of the administration of a protected area as a mediator between the protection of the values for which that area was established and the life of the communities within the protected area.
The themes of the 5 high schools in the country were also discussed, as the Cabinet of Youth Advisors, made up of students from this high school, will represent the views of the 5 Scientific and Advisory Councils in the country directly to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests.
Through this national project, we provide support and expertise in increasing the capacity of nature education programmes for national and nature parks in Romania.
The project „Activating Future Leaders for Nature Protection” is implemented with the financial support of Active Citizens Fund – Romania programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants Grants 2014 -2021.
