20 students, part of the project Activating Future Leaders for Nature Protection, from the Elena Ghiba Birta National High School in Arad, together with their volunteer teacher in this project – Marius Tiu and Florin Halaustan, ranger in the Lunca Mures Natural Park, had a meeting where they discussed various topics related to the theme they have to analyze and debate, within the project.
Thus, the ranger presented, with many concrete, applied examples, from field experience in the park, the impact of fishermen on biodiversity, in strict protection areas. Also, their presence and the temporary shelters they build on land and water: waste, noise, etc.
